Tecla EV Automobile – Privacy Policy & Terms

General Terms

These Terms and Conditions (“T&C”) govern the sale and purchase of electric two-wheelers (2W) and three-wheelers (3W) from Tecla EV Automobile. By placing an order through our official website or authorized dealership, the customer agrees to comply with these T&C.

Tecla EV Automobile reserves the right to modify, update, or revise these Terms at any time without prior notice. Customers are advised to regularly check the official website to stay updated.


Payments

All payments must be made through authorized payment channels including UPI, Net Banking, Credit/Debit Cards, EMI options, or other approved payment gateways integrated with Tecla EV Automobile.

  • A transaction shall be considered successful only upon confirmation from the payment gateway and issuance of a valid receipt.
  • Applicable taxes, RTO charges, insurance, registration fees, processing charges, or statutory duties shall be borne by the customer unless otherwise stated.
  • Tecla EV Automobile shall not be responsible for failed transactions due to banking errors, incorrect details, or technical issues at the customer’s end.

Vehicle Dispatch & Delivery

  • Once the order is confirmed and payment is successfully verified, the dispatch process will begin within 7 working days.
  • Delivery generally takes 15 to 20 working days from the date of dispatch, depending on the customer’s location.
  • Customers must ensure that all shipping and contact details are accurate and complete.
  • Tecla EV Automobile will not be responsible for delays caused by incorrect or incomplete delivery information.
  • Once the vehicle has been handed over to an authorized logistics provider, the courier’s Proof of Delivery (POD) shall be considered final confirmation.
  • Cancellation or refusal of delivery will not be permitted after dispatch initiation.

Cancellation & Refunds

  • Orders may only be canceled before dispatch initiation.
  • No refund requests shall be entertained once the vehicle has been dispatched.
  • In case of payment failure, duplicate payment, or technical error, refunds shall be processed as per the respective payment gateway’s refund guidelines.
  • Refunds, where applicable, will be credited back to the original payment source in compliance with RBI regulations.
  • Any repair or replacement shall be handled strictly as per the official warranty policy.

Warranty & After-Sales Service

Tecla EV Automobile provides a standard warranty on its electric vehicles as mentioned on the official website and warranty card.

  • Warranty claims must be supported by a valid invoice and proof of purchase.
  • Damages resulting from misuse, negligence, unauthorized modifications, accidents, water damage, or external factors shall void the warranty.
  • Warranty services must be carried out only at authorized service centers.

Chargeback Policy

Chargebacks shall be governed as per the applicable payment gateway policies and RBI regulations.

  • Customers must raise chargeback requests within the timeframe specified by their issuing bank.
  • Disputes related to unauthorized transactions, non-receipt of vehicle, defective/damaged goods, or duplicate payments must be supported with valid documentation.
  • Tecla EV Automobile reserves the right to contest invalid or fraudulent chargeback claims by providing necessary proof such as delivery confirmation and invoices.
  • Fraudulent or malicious chargeback attempts may lead to legal proceedings.

Liability & Dispute Resolution

  • Tecla EV Automobile’s liability shall be limited strictly to the scope of the product warranty.
  • The company shall not be responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses or damages.
  • Any disputes arising from transactions shall be resolved through arbitration as per applicable Indian laws.
  • Jurisdiction shall be subject to the courts where the company’s registered office is located.

Compliance with RBI Regulations

All transactions made via UPI, Net Banking, Credit/Debit Cards, EMI, or other payment gateways are subject to RBI guidelines.

vAny violation of RBI regulations may result in transaction denial and possible legal consequences.

Customers must comply with mandatory security procedures including OTP authentication and bank verification.
